Milwaukee, I’m bringing Strong Friend home.

I am extremely proud of this film and excited to share it with the city that has continued to support me throughout my journey.

I’ve screened at the MKE International Short Film Festival before, and I love this festival. Returning with a film that means this much to me makes the moment even more special.

Strong Friend is about the person everybody leans on and what can happen when nobody stops to ask how they’re doing. Brittney Pettus carries this story beautifully, and I can’t wait for Milwaukee to experience it on the big screen.

Social media is cool, but nothing compares to seeing my people in person. Let’s pack the Avalon Theater and make this a premiere to remember.
